Applying in Sept

Post by should-i-do-it » Thu Jul 10, 2014 2:34 pm

Are there any advantages/disadvantages to applying very early in the cycle. I'm retaking in September but thinking about applying to a couple school where I'm at/near the medians right when the apps open up. The only thing I'm worried about is missing out on more scholly $$ if I'm admitted before the new score comes out and I improved. Or are admissions not sent out that early?

Applying early in the cycle is an advantage if they school does rolling admissions, which most do. You can probably find that out somewhere. I am not sure about how long they will take to reply with a decision, but you might ask them if they adjust $$ for more current tests, even if you are already in.
