How to tell my boss I'm leaving

Post by cya-ericcantor » Sat Jul 05, 2014 1:45 pm

I signed a two year employment agreement roughly a year ago and I was sure I was going to live up to it, before I got accepted into a law school of my choice with a fair amount of money. I was not expecting to get in- my plan was to take the LSAT again later this year/next and then apply for the next cycle. But, as fate had it, I got exactly what I wanted with the LSAT I have on the books. Anyway, by the time I presumably attend in September, my employment contract will still be intact, and I have an awful suspicion he's not gonna be too lenient with me on this matter; I've barely spoken with him about any of this. I don't want to put it off any longer because the money I've been offered is rather substantial. Any advice how to move forward with my boss?
