Before I get bombarded with Affirmative Action/ URM boost responses, etc. etc. let me start with a disclaimer: blacks, no doubt, have an advantage in the law school admissions process.
There are, however, disparaging blockades in LS for many African Americans. I want this thread to be a way for blacks who have gone through law school/ are in law school to share their stories with overcoming a largely white privilege/majority. I don't need to go into the ways in which these subtle discriminations are manifested in law school, but I think most of us can acknowledge that they do exist.
Please share experiences and hope in this thread.
