Hi all, and thanks for taking the time to read this. So I graduated college in May 2013. I took the October LSAT that year (PT 67) and due to poor studying and other factors, I seriously under-performed. I had gotten two letters of recommendation during this cycle, one from my favorite professor and another from a director at the bank I had interned at the previous summer. My question is: because I am applying this cycle, should I get new letters of recommendation because it has been so long? I have no idea if there was any time-sensitive information in the letters, and I also don't know if it will reflect poorly on me if law schools can somehow see that the letters are from two years prior to my actual application.
I know that if I only ask, I will likely be able to get a copy of the original letter from my favorite professor, or a new letter of recommendation. However, the other letter from the bank Director will be much more difficult to get a hold of. It will be over two years since my internship at the bank and my contact with the director is tenuous at best. Would it be better for me to just try and get an updated LOR from my favorite professor and then get some others from more recent contacts and choose the best two from there?
Once again, thanks for taking the time to read this and potentially answering my questions.

You can use the old letters (I did almost the same thing because I retook as well), but you should also get a more recent one from an employer so this last year is represented.

Great, thanks for the advice. Yeah, I'll be sure to get LORs from my current employer and will likely use that one over the bank LOR.
