How to be black (for Law School Admissions purposes)

Post by velociraptorblue » Sun Jun 08, 2014 5:19 pm

There is no doubt that being a minority (especially an African American one), gives you roughly an 8-9 point increase on the LSAT. My question is if there is anyway on the application itself to "be black". If I said I was black and then they found out that I'm not, how much trouble will I get in? Do they cross-check minorities with Facebook or when you arrive on campus? Do state bars look at the ethnicity you put down on your law school app?
