Dropped Out of Master.... Question

Post by JamesBond007 » Fri Jun 06, 2014 11:19 pm

Hey Guys, I have a question. I was doing a masters program last year however half way through I dropped out and got a W for all my classes of the semester. My question is... is this important to report when applying to law school? Do I need to submit my transcript with just Ws?

Is there any way that they would find out that I was in a masters and then withdrew?

You need to report that. Law schools require you to disclose all colleges you have attended, including for graduate school.

Yeah, they're going to ask for all of the schools you've attended and want transcripts. Sorry dude.

You need to report it. It will hurt at topmost schools.

I got into a handful of T14s having dropped out of a PhD program. It's not the end of the world if you have a reasonable explanation.

This.

At most schools you probably won't be required to submit an addendum explaining the W's, but you should.
