First semester senior year GPA question
Hey all,
I currently have my transcripts in and processed by LSAC for next cycle. I'm sitting on a 3.75 LSDAS GPA, but it's possible for me to bump it up to a 3.8 depending on my performance the first semester of my senior year.
1. Will LSAC automatically update my transcript, or will I resend it?
2. Is the difference between the 3.75 and 3.8 significant?

1. Not sure.
2. Play around on mylsn to see how your acceptances / scholarships change with the higher GPA.

Re: First semester senior year GPA question
assuming a traditional course load, no, you can't bump it up. Maybe if you have exactly 90 credits and take like 21 or something and get all A's but even then idk. Does your school do A+? also btw your 3.75 is your functional GPA because that is what you'll be applying with this fall; the earlier the better. Maybe take a few summer classes so that your fall can bring you to a 3.8?

My course load is unusual, but I can definitely bump it up before spring semester. I'm studying abroad this summer and getting only 6 units from that, so I can't bump it up too much before applying. Do you think it's even worth it to try to get it to a 3.8 after applying?

I wasn't sure whether CAS would automatically request an updated transcript. Thank you.Pancakes12 wrote:Yeah you have to resend it how else would they update it

Even if they did, how could your school provide it without your authorization? Universities can't just hand out your academic record to anyone who wants it.Atmosphere wrote:I wasn't sure whether CAS would automatically request an updated transcript. Finish UG before starting the application process.
