Would retaking course help?

Post by Bilka » Wed May 28, 2014 12:23 pm

My undergrad GPA from my institution is 3.55, I graduated in 2011.

I took a couple courses at a community college before college, receiving an A in one and an FZ in the other.

The FZ is a class that I signed up for but decided to drop. Not knowing how college worked at the time ( I was 18), I thought if you didnt show up, you are automatically dropped. This FZ is bringing down my lsac GPA to 3.39, should I take the course over summer and resend the transcript? Would this help at all? What should I do?

Since you've already graduated it won't even help your GPA which would be the only reason to do it in the first place. It's not at all worth doing; save yourself the time and money.

It's possible to remove the grade retroactively in some cases, but it's not easy. Check with your school to see their policies on retroactive withdrawals.
