Loyola Law (sticker)? Hastings (13K p/year scholly)? Retake Forum

URM here (Latino), 158 LSAT & 3.0 LSAC GPA. Public service 3+ years, interested in public interest law, and LGBT.

Got into Loyola with no money, Hastings is offering me 13K per year, and I was waitlisted at UCLA. I took the Dec LSAT and because my job requires odd hours outside of M-F 9-5, I wasn't able to study my weaknesses and retake for Feb. I'm considering retaking because I think I can score well into the 160s.

Any thoughts?

calling BS on your results. Don't know how you got 13k a year at Hastings but nothing at loyola. Especially with a meager 158. Hastings medians are higher than Loyola. Your gpa aint helping either. Story doesn't add up boss

The post is 9 months old. It's not worth bumping. Plus, it's a URM, and Hastings says they give out financial aid based on need and last year I believe that was usually 13K.

Please don't post if this is what you're bringing to the table
