I just found out about something I should have disclosed!

Post by LateC&FQuestion » Sun Apr 13, 2014 10:14 pm

I am a total idiot. I forgot an event that happened during college (shoplifted a book from campus bookstore).

I dont have any other disciplinary actions on my record but I was speaking with someone in the deans office at my UG who brought this up. Thank gawd they did before I sent any Deans Certs.

I was caught and admitted to it and later paid a fine. It was over so quick. I totally forgot about the whole event.

I have already been accepted to a few places and waiting on responses from others, including some T6. I've even been negotiating up scholarship offers.

How do I send this addendum? How do I address it being late?!

Halp, once again, I am an idiot.

You know what to do. Send a C&F addendum. In the email I would mention that it was an accidental omission and it was recently brought to your attention. Explain the facts straight up in the addendum in as few words as possible. Express regret. Include a statement about what you learned. Hope for the best.

I personally don't think this should be too damning.
