They only have like 22% going to BigLaw vs. ~50% at T14...still don't know what I'm gonna do...may be worth it to sit out, retake and try for T14 next year...really not sure what to do...LET'S GET IT wrote:You thinking about sitting a cycle LB? With dat giant WASHU offer?

In a similar situation. Sucks, but it's the nature of lawl skool admissionsLebrarian_Booker wrote:They only have like 22% going to BigLaw vs. ~50% at T14...still don't know what I'm gonna do...may be worth it to sit out, retake and try for T14 next year...really not sure what to do...LET'S GET IT wrote:You thinking about sitting a cycle LB? I reused LORs from professors from several years prior that I had already submitted during a previous cycle. I also have two new ones from work/volunteer positions. Definitely include new info, but the past LORs will probably be fine.

Yup. I used LOR's from 3 cycles ago for this year and sent them to a school I previously applied to (waitlisted -> accepted last time, accepted this time).Lebrarian_Booker wrote:If reapplying next year, can I resend the same LORs?

Ah, that is understandable. Sitting a cycle sucks but it's probably the prudent move if you are set on biglaw. Try to get NU ED maybe? But yeah I vote yes to using to same LOR's again with the exception of maybe one new one.Lebrarian_Booker wrote:They only have like 22% going to BigLaw vs. ~50% at T14...still don't know what I'm gonna do...may be worth it to sit out, retake and try for T14 next year...really not sure what to do...LET'S GET IT wrote:You thinking about sitting a cycle LB? Still undecided whether I'll accept WashU's offer this cycle, really stuck in terms of what to do. Not set on BigLaw, but law school doesn't make a whole ton of sense for me if I can't get something $100k/year after it.LET'S GET IT wrote:Ah, that is understandable. Wash U has mildly improved in Big Law + clerk numbers, to a bit above 30%
Not saying that is a great figure, but better than 22%.
Good luck with your tough decision!
