Re: Remind me again why re-take > Pepperdine ($$$)
Are you ok taking a full-ride to spend 3 years of debt-financed living, away from the work force, for a 45% chance of becoming a lawyer at a small firm or in solo practice?
If, ten years on, you are not a practicing attorney (which is very possible) then you have three years that you could have spent doing a lot of other things.
GPA is the only thing you can't change after undergrad. Although, personally, I'd rather just be homeless than go through the LSAT again.

You really only need your own words to convince yourself:
Don't worry, just study. Retake!
No reason to have anxiety; you already know you will do well enough on your re-take to get big money from better schools. Just study hard and enjoy another year at your great job.allonsy wrote: Stats: 164/3.76, didn't study very hard for the LSAT so I know with practice I can do much better. I also know that scoring just 4 points more and applying in November/December will = money at UCLA or USC, both of which are the schools I really want to go to. I have an excellent job that I can easily stay at for another year.

You're worried that Pepperdine will offer you less money if you score higher on the LSAT.
Retake.

Pepperdine is in such a pretty location!!!!!! Why retake when you could start school in August? Enjoy the summer! If you work hard, the school you go to 1L won't matter!
