Except for one thing: don't ED anywhere (besides the ones that inlcude a big scholly for ED acceptances like Northwestern). It's not worth it to lose all other options and negotiation leverage. Blanket the appropriate group of schools for your stats/goals using regular decision apps, and make the best choice from that group when the time comes.

Re: my general timeline
Try to submit sooner, you've got plenty of time. Also, start in your PS and letters sooner too. This was basically my projected schedule and I ended up submitting in late december. Starting earlier on all this can only help.

Yeah, shift the majority of things back a bit so you can submit your apps by the beginning of Sept, and don't ED.

Ok, I was a little confused, I thought we couldn't submit until November. So basically, once applications are released in August, I should be prepared to start sending them out in September? Sounds good. THANKS!

The only one that you have to wait to submit is Yale.secondshot wrote:Ok, I was a little confused, I thought we couldn't submit until November. So basically, once applications are released in August, I should be prepared to start sending them out in September? Sounds good. THANKS!
The rest accept applications starting like Sept 15.
