Okay, so I’m pretty sure the answer is “no,” but I thought I would ask anyways. Is there any way to get school credit for an internship the summer before 1L? I ask because there is a firm that I am really interested in and they said that they would love to have me as an intern, but can’t pay me and would feel more comfortable if I were getting school credit for it due to employment/intern laws.
I don’t even want to email the school and ask because I feel like the answer is so blatantly “no."
