NEED ADVICE!

Post by JVrva » Sun Mar 30, 2014 4:15 pm

153/3.17

I have been accepted to a few schools: Catholic U, Villanova, St. John's($$) and Drexel($$). I have been waitlisted at American, Temple, Northeastern, and University of Richmond. UR is my top school. UR has two waitlists, priority and regular, and unfortunately I am on the regular waitlist. I have no idea my chances of getting off of the waitlist, but am willing to do whatever it takes to get off of it.

I have taken the LSAT twice. 1st time (Oct 13) I scored a poor 148 and 2nd time (Dec 13) I scored a 153. I have great softs, great recommendations, and a solid PS/diversity statement. In retrospect, I should have waited until February to take it so I could have more time to study. My study materials included a the LSAT Kaplan book.

My question is: Should I retake the LSAT in June 2014 in order to increase my chances of getting off of the waitlist? Or wait until September 2014 to retake and apply next cycle in the event that I do not get off the waitlist? I just do not want to rush cramming information in and not doing as well as I can like the previous two times.

Please help! ANY advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
