Would retaking LSAT in June affect C/O 2017 scholarship?
Like, would the law schools I am currently in at see that I increased my score(assuming I did, of course) and possibly offer me more money(by the same token, if I do worse, could I lose money?)? Or would it only mean anything if I a took a year off
My background for the LSAT is I was PTing 162-165 consistently. It was frustrating. When I took it I actually got a 167. I assumed that I had just gotten lucky with a test so I stayed away from the Fall, Winter, and Spring LSATs thinking that could hurt me. Of course I didn't join TLS until a few weeks ago, where "retake" is basically a religious exercise here.
That being said, I have decent scholarships from two T25 schools. I have help with COL. I don't particularly want to wait a year because job prospects don't seem bright right out of UG for me(though I actually am applying for jobs right now too..can't hurt to keep options open after all!).
So yeah, would retaking the June LSAT mean anything for this cycle?

This idea has been brought up a handful of times over the last month or two. I know it is in the Spivey thread a few pages back. Also it has been the primary subject of a few shorter threads.
It seems that a higher score in June may give you some leverage to request increased scholarships for schools that you are already admitted to.
Good luck,

Maybe at the very top, but it seems unlikely. The Dark Shepard wrote:would getting lower negatively impact it?

I actually have a related question. I am considering retaking June and was discussing with someone who said some of the schools I am admitted to (with $$) might find out and rescind my acceptance and/or $$. Any thoughts?

They will find out your new score. They will not take your admittance or $ away.
