Waitlists

I've been admitted to Michigan (plan on attending) and waitlisted at Georgetown, Duke, and Virginia (waiting on Cornell, Penn, and NYU)

How should I play out these waitlists? Will writing LOCIs and getting off give me any leverage when negotiating with Michigan? What are the chances of getting off the waitlist with $$?
