Just curious - what happens if I miss the deadline today? Is there a chance to request financial aid later, like after admission? Or will I have to wait an entire year before applying again?

I done noobed and forgot to send in my financial aid stuff (FAFSA and NeedAccess) until today, which is the deadline. My parents, who live on the other side of the world, are still sleeping and I need their financial/tax info in order to fill out all the forms.
Just curious - what happens if I miss the deadline today? Is there a chance to request financial aid later, like after admission? Or will I have to wait an entire year before applying again?

Double-check with your school; for most of them, I think today is just the "priority deadline", not a final deadline. If you don't get your app in today, you'll probably miss out on any kind of grants where the funding is limited, but the school will still put together a financial aid package for you with all of the grants/loans/etc available to you.
