Hello TLSers,
Long time lurker here... Finally made an account and this is my first post so please be nice. Here is my situation:
I am a senior graduating in May, already applied to about 8 law schools. My stats are: double-major at a large public university, UGPA 3.44 and LSAT 162. Applied to most schools in early February

(procrastinator, I know) I am not an URM either. So far I've been accepted into Pepperdine w/ $30000/yr and Kansas full tuition. I know that Pepperdine is not the highest ranked school, but I love Malibu and would not mind spending the next 3 years there (I will probably try to negotiate the scholarship some). I am wondering what your thoughts are on taking a year off and trying for a higher LSAT score in October and reapplying for better schools/scholarships next cycle... Or should I be content and go to a beautiful, well-reputable school? I'm not super interested in Big Law (If I did it would probably only be for a few years for experience), I have connections in small/medium firms and wouldn't mind doing public service work either. I'm still waiting to hear from: SMU, UND, UCLA, UT, ASU, WUSTL, and Syracuse. I know that most of you will say yes retake no brainer, 170+ or bust, but I've already invested so much time and resources into the process and would just like to move on with my life. I've worked my ass off (I know you all have as well) just to get a 162 and have seemed to of burned out my social life as well. Not to mention my parents are highly anticipating me going to law school in the fall... Not sure what to do really, a little lost. Any advice/suggestions would be great. Thanks
