ASU Peer Schools to Apply to?

Post by leftfootlucy » Sun Feb 16, 2014 11:51 pm

Hello everyone!

I am about 90% sure I am attending Arizona State next year and would like to know any opinions on where to apply for scholarship negotiation power. I just took the LSAT for the third time last week, but think the score is in the low 160s at the highest. I have a 3.79, but cannot seem to score well on the LSAT. I believe I will be in range for a small scholarship to ASU, but would love to be able to negotiate for more.

Any ideas?

idk anything about ASU's scholarship negotiation tendancies in particular, but I bet you would be well served to apply to regional schools around Arizona

maybe

Utah, UC-D/H/I, Loyola/Pepp, Arizona, SMU

Thank you!

Is Summit even worth it? They offer full rides to pretty much everyone, so I didn't think ASU would even care. All the others seem to make sense.

He was joking. Arizona Summit is a dumpster fire, if that dumpster was full of soiled diapers. It's a scam.

Nova is right. Go regional.

UofA. BYU. California schools.

Yeah sorry OP, I figured everyone knew that. Don't go to Summit even if they pay you.

Definitely agree with this

I would also consider schools ranked around the same range as ASU that might give your numbers a huge scholarship

Thanks again!

The Summit thing threw me. Thank god it was a joke. I was worried for their sanity while trying to be respectful of their opinion :).
