If you want a corporate law job, neither. Numbers? Ties?

If you want to work in NC, go to UNC and take mostly transactional course. If you want to work in Ohio, go to OSU and study mostly transactional classes there.

Weren't you just asking about South Carolina? Where are you from? You can't just pick states out of a hat and expect to get a good job there after going to a mediocre school.
If you want a job in DC, the conventional wisdom is that you need to go to an elite school. If you want a good job in business law in a big city, the CW is that you need to go to an elite school. If you want to do everyday-law, like family law or district attorney work, then pick the cheapest school in the area you're connected to and volunteer like hell in your field.
