probably won't really work but i will give it a shot if i were u.
it will work way better when you are applying for a residency at Stanford if your significant other is in Stanford law....

You might want to try to couch it in some other story... maybe like, while visiting my BF at stanford med, I was fortunate enough to meet with SLS students and profs...
So yeah, I'm a fan of telling them, but only if you can do it in a way that isn't just, "I love stanford b/c my bf goes here."

If he were your husband or fiancé, it would be good material for a LOCI

I tried to do this last year and was rejected. I think the information would be pertinent in an interview, but you should be deft about bringing it up in an LOCI.

Yeah, unfortunately it's not going to be as compelling since he's your boyfriend, even though you've been together for a long time. My two cents: if I were you, I wouldn't mention it. Stanford is so competitive that having a boyfriend who goes there isn't really going to help your case, and using that as a reason why you should be admitted could even sound a little juvenile.Cicero76 wrote:If he were your husband or fiancé, it would be good material for a LOCI
