Student Government or Campaign Semester??

Post by franchise11 » Thu Feb 06, 2014 11:14 pm

I am a junior at a small liberal arts college planning to go to law school after campaigning for the 2016 presidential election. As far as softs go, would it be better to spend next year as my school president/vp or campaign in an important US Senate race (while receiving credit) to gain experience that would increase my hire ability after graduation? Thinking long term. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

brotherdarkness, thanks for your reply and advice! I could also potentially intern at the LA Mayor's office while being in SGA, and taking some easy course. Would that change anything or would you still recommend Campaign Semester? Thanks!
