Bama is top 50% this year, and no possible renewing.
Edit: I meant if you fall below that you can't renew a percentage like you did last year.

SMU is "good academic standing", although that's for the non full ride scholarships. I believe full rides have been top X%, though I haven't seen any given out so far this year.
Minnesota is "good academic standing", which they consider to be a GPA of 2.5 of above.
Iowa is "good academic standing", which they consider to be a GPA of 2.1 of above.
Georgia requires a GPA of 2.7 (B-) or above at the end of 1L and 2L otherwise you lose it all.

good to know. the more info the better.Sublime wrote:Word, Good Academic Standing at WUSTL is a 3.0 or higher at the end of the year. That is like a 78.2 average and between a C+ and B-. Our mean for most classes is a 3.55 (an 87.5 ).
At UMN our median is typically close to 3.3 & goes up 2L & 3L.
B- is very bad grade here. I have a good friend who had a 2.6 after 1L & he has to be practically last in the class.

Ok, I left "3.0" out since it is really misleading without context due to the scalesublime wrote: Yea, it is terrible here too. Our top 33.3% cutoff is 3.67 (Median is not published) so a 3.0 is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY below median. Like you would probably have to try to do that badly.

i thought SMU's good standing refers to anything equals or below 30,000/year? I remember from SMU thread that even a 35k/year (close to 75% of tuition) requires top 1/3 not to mention full ride

GW is good academic standing. UCLA is at least a 2.5 GPA, which I think translates to good academic standing.

UC Boulder didn't list any stips and Lewis and Clark said 2.6 GPA. Their median is 3.0.
