Hobbies/Interests/Personal Section on Resumé?
To include or exclude? Also, typically, what is appropriate for this section? For example, I have a blog (technically, a Tumblr) dedicated to the arts - would it be ridiculous to include this?

Yes to having an interests section. 3/4 things. I wouldn't include the tumblr, but that's just me.

I wouldn't stress on it. Just put down 3 things you genuinely enjoy. It shouldn't be a make or break thing (leave that to the rest of the resume
)

Keep it short but give them just enough to use for conversation starters. Also, I wouldn't list Tumblr or any sort of social media account, imo.

I wouldn't include the Tumblr but I'd included some version of 'art' in your list of interests. Be more specific than that, of course. 'Modern sculpture' or 'traveling to famous art museums' or 'history of Renaissance art,' etc.

I included one on my resume, hasn't seemed to have hurt my cycle at all. I was however, fairly detailed (albeit concise) in what these interests were and they weren't things like "reading."
