Sample "Why X School" Addenda / Sample Resumes? Forum

I'm working on a few of these, but I worry about them seeming insincere, tacky, and/or cliche. Also, I feel like I'm mainly regurgitating information from the schools' websites (i.e., about programs, clinics, etc.). Any suggestions on how to write a convincing "Why X" statement? Also, are there any solid examples I can look at to get a better idea of what I'm doing?

Also, I'm looking for more sample resumes. I've seen the ones from Harvard, and I've found a couple on a few other sites, but I'd still like to see more, especially some more that are 2 pages.

While the TLS information is very helpful, I'd still really like to see some additional sample "Why X" addenda. Any other resources?
