Q: Listing other schools you've applied to on an application

A particular application asks about the other schools that I will be applying to.

Does anyone have any insight with regard to this?

Does it ever hurt/help you to list all of the other schools that you're applying to?

It has nothing to do with whether you'll be admitted or not. It's purely so schools can collect information on who their closest competitors/"peer" schools are. It doesn't matter whether you fill it out, but if you do, it won't have any effect on your application at all.
