Karen just answered this over in the Q&A form with Spivey Consulting. Essentially, a couple pass/fails aren't going to hurt you chances at all.

My personal opinion, but I don't know if a single P/F course will affect your chances in any way. Doesn't seem like a very "law school admissions committee" thing to make assumptions about the motive behind or context surrounding the P/F course.
