Waiting is definitely the credited response. Retake again in June if you don't hit the score you need on this test, and have all of your materials ready to go to submit the first day of the cycle next year.

Wait till next cycle. If you really want to put your mind at ease and don't mind potentially wasting a few hundred dollars, you can always apply now, update schools with your retake, then evaluate your options (assuming you hit your target score in Feb). At that point, come back and ask for advice again. If you're not satisfied with the schools/scholarship money, sitting out a cycle is the right call.
