I wouldn't. What would you say anyways? I'm taking these classes that look really easy but they're actually really hard? I would just leave it be.

I need to take them to graduate and to fulfill major
It's not going to matter either way, so write one if you would rest easier knowing that you've said your piece.

I took whatever I wanted senior year, some easy classes that I just thought were interesting. I don't think it caused any issues, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Writing a bad addendum will hurt you a bit, so I'd just skip it. I took an "Intro to Scientific Literature" course my senior year; this was after 3 years of honors chemistry classes. Didn't seem to matter.

Dear God no. How the hell would they know the classes aren't RIGOROUS unless you tell them?

They are not going to be pleased with your lack of rigor. Sorry, but you're an autoreject.

Wait, so even though you're taking classes of dubious rigour, but you want to write an addendum saying they're actually rigorous so that SHY doesn't think you're taking the "unrigorous way out"?

TCR: You don't need this addendum for HYS, but you should definitely write it for U. Chicago.
