Seriously? No.luckystar84 wrote: oK should I write one anyway?
That would be one of the most pointless addendums of all time

The LSAT score band is +/-3 points. If anything, your new score reinforces your old score.
Writing an addendum for any retake is not a thing.

Like the man said, score bands predict you would consistently score within a few pts either way if you took the test over and over again. I would say no need unless you go more than 5 either way. Most schools will use your highest score anyway. 172 and 173 are essentially the same thing.

Just apply with what you've done. Many people with the same stats as you will be rejected from hys, but will go on to thrive at virginia, duke, Vanderbilt...etc. there are not enough seats at hys for every applicant who has 170+ and 3.9

Look, if you think you can significantly increase your score, go for it.

What would you write in the addendum anyway? That you didn't get enough sleep that week?
With or without the addendum, it'll just look like what it is, that you thought you could pull one off higher but it didn't work out.
