Going against TLS conventional wisdom. Want HYS and family will fund Law school anyway. Should I submit my applications before I have my LSAT score? Will this help my chances?

Considering that the application deadlines for HS are before the February LSAT, you're going to need to.

Though I'm not actually sure if LSAC will even let you submit an app without an LSAT score on file, so that might all be moot. Why not take December and see how you do?

family circumstances prevent me from taking the dec test, i wont do my best.

Looks like most schools accept applications submitted before taking the Februrary LSAT. Will need permission from Stanford and Harvard says they dont normally accept it - with applications down, are we in normal circumstances? I dont think so!

HYS are not getting hit nearly as hard as the other schools by the downturn, so I'd get in touch with them ASAP to make sure you're not getting your hopes up for nothing.

Though I'd echo others in saying that you should wait another year to apply.
