Changing a second major to a minor during last year?
Hi all,
I'm a third year undergrad finishing a year early, double majoring in History and Economics. I'm thinking seriously about reverting the Econ major to a minor. I feel like I've satisfied my intellectual curiosity, and when I look at the course offerings, I see nothing I feel particularly excited about. Would doing so affect my admissions for law school? I'm applying this year - taking my LSAT in a week, have LORs lined up, etc., so I suppose I would just need to update my education info.
I should add that I don't intend to fill my last semester with filler classes instead of the econ classes I would have to take if I don't revert to a minor. I have a few ideas of interesting but useful classes I could take (like language or computer classes).
If it's needed, my GPA is 3.33 at Rutgers University; while I can't really estimate what my LSAT score will be, of the seven practice tests I took (from the most recently released tests), I scored between a 160 and a 165 on every single one. Some examples of the range of schools I'm applying to are Michigan State, Wisconsin-Madison, and Georgetown.
I appreciate any input.

I agree with what everyone else said. But I also want to add that you really have no business taking the October LSAT if you've only taken seven PTs.

Doesn't matter. Econ degree seems more valuable long term though

Not for admissions, but you may want to keep that econ major in case the law school thing doesn't work out.
