So I've started noticing that applications are now being posted to LSAC for FY 14, and they're available to be filled out and submitted. If you check the school's website though, they show a later date for when they start accepting applications. (Usually 1 or 15 September).
Is there any benefit to hitting submit now? Or does it just sit in LSAC's bowels until the school says "start sending them"?

Re: Applications available for submission before posted date
It can't hurt if your app is truly polished and ready to be submitted, but I doubt it'll provide much benefit outside of being one of the first files to be reviewed. Most admissions committees seem to come together to start evaluating in September, so even if it's available now, no decisions will come out until Mid-September (and those are usually the UVA ED types).
There's no harm in submitting now, but very little to be gained as well. If your app is ready, no reason to hesitate though.
