Has anybody used LawSchoolAdvice.com for info?
I was just browsing around and stumbled upon a random (yet pretty helpful) site called LawSchoolAdvice. I was just wondering if anyone has every heard of them or used them for advice before...? http://lawschooladvice.com/
I found them while looking for info on negotiating scholarships. They actually have a pretty good guide on the topic at http://lawschooladvice.com/guides/negot ... olarships/
But since I've never heard of them I just didn't know if they're trust worthy or not. Any info would be appreciated!

If OP is affiliated, I doubt s/he would have (incorrectly) put a space in the word trustworthy.CyanIdes Of March wrote:Join date: today

The front page calls the LSAT the LSATs. This website is thus clearly a giant flame, so GTFO. Only Rachel Zane is hot enough to call it "the LSATs" without putting me into a rage.

I'm a lurker, won't deny it. But made the username literally so I can ask this question. I don't want to take advice from a source that isn't legit so I was just asking you guys for your opinion, that's all

Doesn't look like it has anything particularly helpful or not common knowledge.

Ya you're right the site seems a bit unfinished.
I guess I was really just referring to the negotiating scholarships page but thanks for the insight

WrongUSC would not care to compete with George Washington, because although they are similar in ranking, they are on opposite sides of the country, and are most likely competing for different students.
Bad grammer + a very poor exampleLets say Harvard offers you a $20,000 while Boston College, who is ranked lower, only gives you $10,000.

I've actually read this one and found it to be a bit (dare i say) overhyped on TLS, which is how I originally came to the lawschooladvice article. I thought it was a bit more in depth, and came here to verify its merits.Nova wrote:TLS Approved: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 22&t=79373
I'll definitely read over that one again though.
So cool that you can negotiate law school scholarships. Does any other type of school let you do that?

Sorry guy, I'm suspicious of everything first time posters say, especially when they are posting multiple links for the same website in their very first post. I still think you made the site.rising5L wrote:Ya you're right the site seems a bit unfinished.

From the sounds of it the website itself has some grammatical issues. I wouldn't know for sure what the site entails because I don't like to give ad revenue to gimmick accounts.RodneyRuxin wrote: If OP is affiliated, I doubt s/he would have (incorrectly) put a space in the word trustworthy.

This site is a joke. Look at this page, for example, containing an incredibly comprehensive section on gaining admission to law school: --LinkRemoved--

I imagine it was deleted, though a quick search of the site owner shows he is a web marketing director. I'd bet $1000 he is the OP.

I never knew you could get information like that from a URL. Glad I caught that, but I won't report since mods seem to think it's an invasion of privacy... which it probably is, even though it's widely available to anyone who knows they can do that.Chriz wrote:I imagine it was deleted.
