Big LSAT GPA Drop! Help!
My stats where the following Cumm GPA=3.24 Degree GPA=3.45
After the LSAC calculated the GPA it was Cumm GPA=3.02 Degree GPA=3.45
I am very worried. If I can pull a 165 can I still get into a school like Loyola Law school?

You're in luck! There is very little practical difference between 3.24 and 3.02. Either way you'll need a 170 to make law school worth it.

To put this in context, once you're below a school's 25%, it doesn't matter how far down you are except for psychological reasons on the person evaluating your transcript. Their numbers are affected the same by anyone below their numbers. You're above a 3.0, which is an important psychological threshold to break.Tiago Splitter wrote:You're in luck! If you pull a 165, you should have a pretty decent shot at Loyola, as you'd be above their 75% for LSAT and that's more important to them than GPA.

Because the maximum score is 180. Kobe's goal is to get a ring every season, not just make the playoffs, bro.Erickt26 wrote:Why not?thenewguy wrote:Don't go in there with a 165 as your goalErickt26 wrote:My stats where the following Cumm GPA=3.24 Degree GPA=3.45

Yeah I didn't even really know what to say to that so this sums it up pretty well. Be Kobe dudeTrout et al wrote:Because the maximum score is 180. Ok. Here's my deal I took Blueprint twice average score is 154. I studied for four months. As of now, I have two full months with no job, so I can study all day. I'm very dedicate but easily get distracted. Is a 170 truly possible?
With all honesty is it? I am willing to take October and December lsat if the answer is yes....lol.

There are countless people on these forums with a 170 or above, myself included (170 on test day never beat 169 in practice if that's any inspiration).Erickt26 wrote:Ok. It is. What did you do? How did you study? How many hours per day and for how long? Any tips?thenewguy wrote:There are countless people on these forums with a 170 or above, myself included (170 on test day never beat 169 in practice if that's any inspiration).Erickt26 wrote:Ok.
