Don't write one. Schools will only care about your 165. Don't bring attention to the 155.

Re: Writing an addendum on LSAT score jump
I'm in a similar situation, with conflicting advice.
1. TLS says don't write one
2. Montauk's book with quotes from deans gives the message that people should write one.
So I'm not sure what is the correct thing to do.

Is there a number that would require/be benefitted by an addendum?
20 points? 30?

I went from a 152->166->177. Didn't write an addendum. I can't imagine it hurt me not writing writing one, although I also can't imagine it would've hurt me had I wrote one.

Amazing job. This is a perfect example of why the collective wisdom always encourages retakes.ColtsFan88 wrote:Thanks. It took lots of hard work. TLS is a lifesaver.Gamine wrote:ColtsFan88 wrote:I went from a 152->166->177.Go you!!!!

This interests me as well. Schools I'd be considering state you should write an addendum but I'd love to hear advice on writing a "I studied more" or "I didn't freak out on a LG" vs. "My mom and my dog we're eaten by our other dog the night before" or "I got mono from licking a subway seat on a dare"
