Cumulative GPA?

Post by samantha.b233 » Fri Jul 05, 2013 1:38 am

On my "Academic Summary Report" from LSAC, I saw there is a "Degree (Summary) GPA" and a "Cumulative GPA," and both are different from my GPA on my college transcript. When law schools look at your GPA, which one do they look at?

My "Cumulative GPA" is 3.47, the "Degree (Summary) GPA" is 3.29 and the one on my transcript is 3.42...I really hope they use the cumulative GPA.

They'll use your cumulative - that's the one that takes into account every college credit you took prior to receiving your first bachelor's degree, including retakes and credits that didn't count toward your degree.
