163, 3.5, Strong Resume
This is my first post, but I have been a long time troll of these boards sapping of the advice and the sarcasm.
Recently got my LSAT back and am in a bit of a panic - got a 163 (can't believe that 88th percentile on a test is bad) and was testing around 168. I was hoping for a bottom t14 but am now looking at bottom t25.
Would you guys recommend a retake?
A have a 3.5 GPA (suffered by my freshman year and is all A's and B+'s since) and a resume that has a few managerial positions and will include a year of volunteer service.
Prediction software puts me at around 50% chance of acceptance in the t25 schools, but I don't know if a strong app outside of the number's would improve that or not.
Thanks for any help!

5 points below your PT average is typical (most people probably do 3-5 points below their average), so if you really want T14 you should really be getting your PT avg up to the low/mid 170s. And no your "strong" resume doesn't sound like it will give you a boost unless you are being very modest and leaving out that your managerial experience was troops in combat in afghanistan, or as an associate at an ibank.

retake, retake, retake. With your scores, it wouldn't even be possible to get scholarship money from the t25. And $100,000k+ from anywhere outside the t14 is absolutely inexcusable.RLowry23 wrote:This is my first post, but I have been a long time troll of these boards sapping of the advice and the sarcasm.
