Regarding cGPA and Summer Courses

Post by TayRobChap » Wed Jun 19, 2013 7:17 pm

Hi there,

I have two quick questions regarding how law schools look at cGPA.

1. I am switching from Sciences into Engineering at UBC this year, and as a result, it will take me a total of 5 years to get my degree. Will the entire 5 years be included in my cGPA?

2. Do law schools treat summer or distance education courses differently? For example, would some schools neglect to include a summer course in my cGPA?

Any help would be appreciated!

:)

More precisely, every class up until the time you graduate is included in the computation. If you complete the requirements for graduation but do not yet apply to graduate, and are thus not yet awarded the degree, classes taken afterward toward the completion of another degree or major will continue to be included. Your GPA is frozen once you officially graduate.
