Poll: LSAT Potatoes - how many are enough?

Post by MKC » Fri Jun 14, 2013 10:51 am

All right, all you RETAKE ED UVAers. What does TLS think is an acceptable LSAT? Given that the advice is almost inevitably retake, I'm curious where TLS draws the line. Feel free to weigh in. This should be fun(ny).

Update: Because TLSers hate the 99%, the poll has been updated to include only options of 171 or greater. Please vote again, assuming I didn't just fuck up the poll.

Update 2: Hopefully Mods will fix the poll soon, because potato.

Update 3: NR fixed the poll. All hail Mods. The poll has been completely reset, please vote again.

poll should be 170-180 instead of starting at 162.

Only ten poll options. I opted for range over precision.

Didn't want to put it in the on-topics since it wasn't really relevant to anything. Plus- I'm lazy, and didn't feel like thinking it through. Move it if you want Ginger. With all due respect.

I was really hoping for more elitism here. Only 19% said retake unless 180? Come one TLS.

I will compute a weighted average tomorrow to declare an official TLS retake requirement.

regardless of what the answer is, the correct response is to ED UVA.

With 55 votes, the TLS hivemind weighted average comes to 174.1, which means that TLS says if you aren't in the top 0.8%, you're not doing it right.

You see that spread between 174 and 176? That's because the correct statistical answer is 175. That's the diminishing returns score.

I would have voted 177 if that was an option.

The weighted average hivemind consensus now stands at 173. Where the hell are the people that voted 180 on the last poll? And where's Noodley? Accusing me of blatant anti-179 trolling and then not voting for it when I change the poll. Bullshit.

Anyone who voted for a 175 has clearly never gotten a 174.
