Re: Is affirmative action fair?
Dk if you're a racist or just an idiot. Why don't you do it, and see if you can pass?
Affirmative action definitely seems fairer for black applicants than non-black applicants based off what the Supreme Court said was one of it's main justifications (remedying past discrimination in the U.S.) I'm curious if someone brought this lawsuit specifically challenging the latina boost how it would go.

Racist jokes are hilarious. You should try putting some in your personal statements to HYS, for all of these schools prefer candidates with a good sense of humor.meowlaw wrote:Wow I didn't mean to offend anyone. It was a joke and I was just trying to be funny.

You'd have to ask Justice Kennedy.

It's being marginally impacted, or whatever, within the next few weeks.Br3v wrote:When does it come down?Bildungsroman wrote:You'd have to ask Justice Kennedy.
Also, there's a whole other thread dedicated to debating this topic.

OP, I highly doubt you were joking. Do not even think about doing something this stupid and dishonest. Especially if you have plans of being a lawyer and passing a bar at any point during your lifetime.

Re: Is affirmative action fair?
Not that this has to do with law school or fairness or anything, but while we're on the topic, there is this one old guy that works at my company... But he works remotely from his home in Arizona. One time when he was in town, I asked him how he decided upon Arizona of all places, to which he responded that it helps him get in touch with his Native American ancestors and their culture. After hearing that, I was like, "oh, so you're part Native American?" His response was "I don't know for sure, but my great grandmother's husband is unknown and I bet he was a Native American." This dude has long blonde hair and sky blue eyes.

I am surprised this thread hasn't been locked yet. All the mods must be getting ready to go pop bottles in da club in NYC.
