Can I transfer from Drexel to Upenn? Forum

So I have an offer for a full ride to drexel and a lot of dept hanging over my head from undergrad and really like the co-op program offered at drexel. I have done some research and found that it is very difficult to transfer from a school ranked 110 to 7 but also that high ranking schools like to cherry pick top students from local schools. So my question is this... is it possible to transfer from drexel to upenn? And if so, what percentage of the class ranking would i need to be competitive? Thanks for the help.

2) 1Ls (and 0Ls!), do not ask about transfer odds or possibilities before you have grades.

I'd think you'd literally have to be at the very top of your class (top 1%) with no higher ranking Drexel student competing with you.

I wouldn't go into Drexel with this ambition. There is almost a 100% chance that you won't be able to transfer up to UPenn (maybe Penn State? But even then that jump is not worth losing a full scholarship to Drexel).

Much easier to retake and get decent money from a lower T14, or at least a full ride from Temple if you're committed to staying in Philly.
