MSU, Mercer $$$, or USC
So, my goal is to stay and practice in Georgia, and i've gotten acceptances from 3 schools. Michigan St would be little to no scholarship and USC would be probably the same. I could go to Mercer for half scholly. I've applied to GSU and Emory as well, but i doubt i'd get in to the latter and am unlikely with the former. Thanks guys, i appreciate any and all input.

thanks for the input you guys, i greatly appreciate it. retaking is out of the question.. i took the test 3 times, scoring between 153-158 all 3 times.. i am a terrible test taker, i get so nervous that i cant sleep the night before. sucks, if only i could score even 5 points below my PT. anyways, my goal isnt to become an incredibly well off attorney, i just love working with the law. i would be able to graduate from mercer with <50k in debt

Have you tried negotiating with Mercer? Only go there if it's free.
I think Georgia State's your best option though. Hopefully that works out.

If you had the numbers to get into USC, I'd imagine you'll probably get a sizable scholly at MSU.

yeah... thats the thing, i dont know why MSU doesnt seem to like me.. maybe its because im out of state or something. i requested more money from Mercer, but without many other scholarship offers its pretty hard to leverage any money. they upped my scholly from around 14.5 to half tuition which is like 18k. i understand GSU is my best bet, but i honestly hate the school. i was an undergrad there for 2 years and transferred to another university. everything from the campus to the administration is just shabby. the rankings and prospects are just enticing... thanks for the input again my friends

I dunno, if you can get into USC (assuming your numbers are around their median) you should be looking at a full ride at MSU and probably GSU too.
ETA: Did you apply to UGa or Vandy?

Def talking about south carolina. Cus he says GSU medians are higher. I thought USC as in Southern California also.John_rizzy_rawls wrote:You're talking about South Carolina USC right?
In the US, if you say SC, do people automatically think of CA or South Carolina? i'm from CA so everyone thinks of the Trojans.

The other dude thought you mean University of Southern California. Hence the confusion as to why you were not being offered any money. What is your gpa? Is that at least above the medians at the schools you applied too?chrislee012 wrote:yeah, south carolina.
