This is something that could materially affect my cycle. If someone who has a good reputation around here wants to make $50 (via Paypal) PM me. I will edit this post as soon as I find someone.
Thanks.
What could possibly have happened to you that requires 35 pages of writing to express?

There is a decent chance that eventually I will simply post the entire sordid affair as I have pretty much lived a Lifetime Movie for the last month and at the least it is entertaining reading. But, for now, just looking for one person who has a solid reputation on this board to comment.

Re: Looking For Someone's Thoughts as to a Convoluted Situation
To answer the question...
I am looking for someone to read the situation and say, "Oh, I think admissions would actually spend the time to read this and then conclude you did nothing wrong", or, "Oh, I think they would read this and you would be guilty by association", or, "Oh, I think they wouldn't even read it and just throw the baby out with the bathwater", or, "They aren't going to give a shit."
It could be a sleeping dogs lie type situation. I certainly don't want to bring it up, but, there's a coin flip possibility it gets sent to admissions by a vindictive individual. And, whatever they send would be entirely biased. So, if admissions gets contacted, will they ask my side of the story or just say, "Well, do we take guy A or guy B...similar numbers by guy A has this weird thing going on." If we postulated that they were 100% contacted, would it be correct strategy to contact them myself?
These are the sort of questions I am hoping to volley back and forth with someone after they read the site.

There's very little chance of admissions opening a letter about an applicant sent in unsolicited by a third party.GoingForGold wrote:I certainly don't want to bring it up, but, there's a coin flip possibility it gets sent to admissions by a vindictive individual.
That being said, if there were any cops involved, even if everything was dismissed, you'll probably have to disclose it anyway.

Sounds like you need to read this first:GoingForGold wrote:I am not trying to be difficult here. This is still an ongoing issue and runs the gauntlet all the way to false terrorist charges being made. Someone PMed me. I am going to have them take a look and I'll bump this thread once the situation clarifies itself in the coming weeks.

In all seriousness though - worst thread ever.
