Don't commit in the first place if they won't remove the stip. What leverage do you think you'll have after you've enrolled and finished a semester?

And what school is this? Few decent schools put stips on their scholarships.

The leverage? To transfer. Obviously though no OL should ever plan on this, and the most leverage you will ever have is as an OL....just so future TLS'ers are clear.

Because if so, you literally have 0% chance at removing that stip.
"Hey you dnt have to pay me if X happens. X happened, can we change the agreement so that you still pay me?"

If this is the case I would recommend talking to people on this site and determine what's the best case scenario. Depending on what your paying/what the school is, dropping out may be a real possibility.
