C&F Issue
I just remembered that I was suspended in sixth grade for writing,"I'm going to kick your ass" in some kid's year book. It completely slipped my mind until I was reading someones post about an incident from highschool. Is this going to screw me over later, should I contact the law schools and let them know? What is the best way to proceed from here?

haha i was being completely serious, I already have a DUI which I fully disclosed, so I'm paranoid about any C&F issues since I heard the CA bar is really intense with their C&F research

Just answer the questions honestly. I just filled out my CA C&F app and don't remember a question that would bring up your situation.
For example, they ask about any academic sanctions during college. If you got a noise complaint or a drinking citation don't click yes because those aren't academic.

The C and F questions don't ask about school violations before college.

I don't know about CA specifically, but I believe mine asked if I had ever filed for bankruptcy, and possibly about collection actions. It's been over a year since I filled out the C&F though.dingbat wrote:Bothpresh wrote:In general or CA specifically?dingbat wrote:What kind of financial questions do they ask?Mroberts3 wrote:Just answer the questions honestly. Thanks. I didn't think it'd be anything more than that, except maybe a list of any outstanding debt.presh wrote:I don't know about CA specifically, but I believe mine asked if I had ever filed for bankruptcy, and possibly about collection actions. At my old job things got complex (nothing illegal; just structuring) and I was just wondering how tedious it would be and to what extent I'd have to deal with it

Oh I C, so one last time to be clear. Do I have to go back to and email any law schools that I have already submitted apps too, that I looked back and they asked about academic sanctions (suspensions or otherwise) at any school or institution, not just post secondary or college? Thats my question

Re: C&F Issue
Feel free to send them a short email asking if they include grade school. I'm willing to bet fictional money that they'll tell you it's not a big deal.karmaman wrote:Oh I C, so one last time to be clear. Re: C&F Issue
Dingbat,
My recollection was that they ask for bankruptcy stuff as well as student loans that are behind in payment. There might have been more, but I didn't have anything to say in that section so its skipping my mind at the moment.
RE OP's DUI -- I would correct the date just to be accurate. No point in making things confusing over a typo.
