Scholarship Essay on the Model Rules??

Post by Pumpkin_Pie » Sat Jan 05, 2013 1:46 am

I'm working on a scholarship essay. The prompt is asking if an action violates the Model Rules. It asks for a "brief essay," 1-2 pages. I'm not sure which direction I'm supposed to take this. I don't want to pretend I'm a law student, swing at legal research and totally miss. On the other hand, I don't want to send them an opinion essay and be written off.

They probably just want to see that I can write an essay, correct? Thoughts?

I think you should be a little more specific if you want any advice.

Otherwise, yes.

I'd assume they just want to see your researching/writing/application skills. I doubt they'd be looking so much for a really, really strong analysis so much as seeing your skill set.
