I was planning on applying this term, but I didn't do as well on the LSAT as I had wanted to, so I am going to retake in June. What should I do about my LORs? Should I just hold onto them and use the same ones when I reapply, or should I have my recommenders update them?
Thanks!

LSAC will keep those on file if they have been submitted, and you can use them next round.

Since there will have been a gap since they initially wrote the LORs and the applications, would it be prudent for me to have them update them?

Would anything they say change between now and August?Redbandit wrote:Since there will have been a gap since they initially wrote the LORs and the applications, would it be prudent for me to have them update them?
Its generally accepted that it is perfectly fine to use year old LORs.

Other than talking about work experience? No. I guess that since law schools are looking for your academic abilities that it should be fine. Thanks, Nova.
