Post by megan21 » Thu Jan 03, 2013 3:01 am

Are there any schools that are known to give applicaiton fee waivers if I email them? I have a 165 LSAT and a 3.96 GPA

Just email the schools you're applying to and ask.

It can't hurt.

Most schools will give them even if you aren't an auto admit because then you'll apply and their applicants will go up, thus increasing their selectivity (and possibly ranking).

I got either emailed waivers or emailed and received for all the schools I applied to except one.

I took in October, I started getting fee waivers within a week, and still get them from random schools.

I would suggest to give it at least a week before you solicit fee waivers if you can afford to. Just to give them time to send out the emails

I have. Some were emailed to me, some I asked for.

Go the school's website, look up who to email to ask for a fee waiver and ask for one.
